There are over 40 people working for Aurora Events and Marketing. From the bright eyed guys and girls that meet your guests at the registration desk to the person behind the screen that makes sure the AV is working, we have the best team in the world. But here’s the good news, they are not all on the pay role!

Over the years we have built a team of the very best suppliers to the events and marketing industry. From set designers and lighting engineers to database experts and direct marketers we bring the very best to work for you. Thanks to our many years experience you can be 100% confident that our team of experts share our passion for delivering a fantastic service and at competitive prices thanks to our buying power.

The driving force in the company is Dawn and Catherine. We founded the business because we love what we do and we knew that by running our own show we could bring more innovation and fun to the job, which means a better service for you.

Best Event: The best event is always the one that has just finished or the one that is just about to start. We put so much focus into all events, big and small that they are each brilliant in their own way.

Highlight of Career: Taking that decision to set up Aurora Events & Marketing with my business partner, Catherine is the highlight — so far.

Proudest Moment: When President Bill Clinton, took to the stage in a factory in West Belfast in 1995 I was the proudest event director in the world. It was always going to be an event with massive challenges. A world leader, an industrial setting and an audience locally, nationally and internationally of millions – and we delivered.

What keeps you awake at night? It’s the daft ideas that stop me going to the land of nod. What if we could get Bill Gates to deliver the key note or could we get the CEO to come into the conference on the back of a motor bike? It drives the team mad but it’s what makes this job such fun – the daft idea is quite often the one that will turn an ordinary event into a spectacular one.

Catherine Logan

Best campaign? During my time with Capita I delivered an integrated marketing strategy that enabled Evolvi, a rail travel booking company to doubling its customer base securing 70% market share. Campaigns that produce great results always make me happy!

Highlight of Career: Like Dawn, I think the highlight so far is setting up our own business. The combination of event and marketing expertise is a winner and we have some very ambitious plans for growing our company.

Proudest Moment: Recently we won a contract to support a leading training and support organisation launch their business in Australia. It is very rewarding to know that your skills and expertise are in demand worldwide!

What keeps you awake at night? Results! I am very passionate about measuring results. We all need to know our marketing investment is adding value to the business and I am always thinking of ways to improve that return.
