Inspiring People

One of our clients has a Senior Management Conference every year. The felt they needed some fresh thinking so they approached Aurora to help out. We used our magic and created an interactive event. All delegates were given mobile phones and via text messages throughout the day they were instructed to ask particular individuals questions.  The information gathered was collated and projected on a large screen creating a totally different way to engage with colleagues and encourage networking. It helped make an important event fun, memorable and useful.

Any surprises?  It was decided to create miniature avatars of every delegate as fun give away and to get people to understand the diversity of the team. The only challenge was we had 90 delegates and three days to do it in. Needless to say every delegate went away with a little character of themselves and it has now become part of the company culture that all new staff gets their own avatar.

Did it work? Definitely, the buzz in the room at the end of the event was fantastic. People were engaged and motivated about the future. As part of the event we created an animated dvd of the company's history. They loved it so much we have re-edit it for each country they operate in.
