Company Launch

A UK company asked us to support the launch of their new business in Australia. The company had experience of pushing into new geographies but need a solution that was quick, cost effective and above all allowed them to hit the ground running and keep focused on their core business.

We created plan with a number of different work streams. This enabled us to break the mammoth project into smaller, measurable tasks. The plan included development of a brand that worked in the Australian market together with a marketing toolkit and all the collateral, including a full blown web site and branding and signage needed on day 1. In addition we helped create a stakeholder communication plan and worked with the company to recruit and manage an Australian PR company.

As with many of our marketing projects we also supported the company in other interrelated areas. In Australia we oversaw the recruitment of more than 90 new employees. From assessment centres to a three day induction programme we made sure the new team was in place ready for their grand opening.

Any surprises? The time scale wasn't a surprise but it was a challenge. We got the contract in April and the company needed to be up and running on 1st July.

Did it work?  The company was ready for business on 1st July. We delivered on time and on budget and the buzz at the partner event we organised on Hunter Valley clearly showed we had put this team on the map.
